  Hue is one of places, which has many cultural heritages. Up to now, there is no places like Hue remaining a lot of originally historical vestiges as in this ancient Capital City.On the Northern bank of Perfume River has relics consisting of palaces, which were constructed as arc defensive ramparts with 11km length. This valuable construction includes more than 100 arichectural works which were extremely reflected the life of Emperors and mandarins under Nguyen’ reign. Situated in the middle of hills on the Southern bank of Perfume River are very beautiful tombs of Nguyen Kings.
Among these tombs are the four famous ones with the name and the arrangements of the tomb reflected each Emperor’s points of view, personality, and tastes. This is majestic Gia Long tomb, imposing Minh Mang tomb, poetic Tu Duc tomb and magnificent Khai Dinh tomb.
Hue is also an important center of Buddhism. In Hue and its surrounding still exist tens of pagodas constructed more 300 years ago, and a hundred of temples and pagodas built in the early century.

Besides, Hue is a place where the royal music is originated, and a place with traditional famous dishes and sophisticated handicraft.
As a unique city of Vietnam still remains its form of City under Middle Age and the constructions of monarchic, Hue has become a big and an invaluable museum. Therefore, vestiges in Hue ancient capital have been classified by the government as a very precious property and on December 1993 Hue has been recognized as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO
  
  HUE is 108 km from Da Nang, 166 km from Dong Hoi, 368 km from Vinh, 654 km from Hanoi, 1071 km from Ho Chi Minh city.
- Air: Phu Bai Aiport is 14 Km south of the city centre. Viet Nam Airlines has daily flight connections with Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, and it run its own minibus from its office to the airport. It takes 15 minutes.
- Train: Hue Railway station -Tel:(054)-822175, on Le Loi Rd.The Thong Nhat express trains stop in Hue.
- Bus: Hue has 3 main bus station: An Cuu bus station (at the end of Hung Vuong Rd), An Hoa bus station (north-west of the Citadel on National Highway 1) and Dong Ba bus station (next to Dong Ba Market),connection with other cities in Viet Nam.
- Minibus: Tourist minibus runs from Hue to Hoi An, stopping in Da Nang. Ticket are sold at some hotels or at the Sinh cafe booking desk at the Mandarin Cafe, Hung Vuong hotel, 2 Hung Vuong Str.,Tel:(054)826918 and at the Truong Tien Hotel, 8 Hung Vuong St.,Tel :822121. There is a 10 minutes stopat Lang Co Beach and Hai Van Pass. There are daily departures at 8 a.m and 1p.m (120 km,cost 5USD );Hue-Danang tickets cost 3 USD;Hue-Nhatrang ticket is about 11USD.
- Motorbike: Can be rented from some hotels (for 5-7 USD /per day )

- Boat: Boat rides down the Perfume River. Tours visit the Tomb of Minh Mang and Thien Mu Pagoda. Many restaurants and hotels arrange these boat tours, which cost around 3 USD per person. The journey takes about six hours(usually run from 8 a.m to 2 p.m). Boatcan also be found at the dock near Dong Ba Market or Dap Da Bridge.
